BUREAUCRATIC ESSENTIALS

1. Assistance with Residency
Help navigating the application for residency permits (permesso di soggiorno) and registration at the local town hall (anagrafe). This includes gathering the required documentation, booking appointments with the questura (immigration office), and following up on renewals or changes in status (e.g., family reunification, self-employment, EU/Non-EU status). It may also involve obtaining a codice fiscale (Italian tax code), which is essential for almost all legal and financial transactions.

2. Tessera Sanitaria (Health Insurance Card)
Support in applying for or renewing the tessera sanitaria, which allows access to the national healthcare system (SSN). This includes registering with a family doctor (medico di base), understanding co-payments (ticket), and knowing which services are covered. Assistance may be needed for expats in determining eligibility (especially non-EU), navigating regional health agencies (ASST/ATS), and translating documents.
